2022-2023 Projects

  • Senator Priddy has begun conversations with the Office of Commuter Life to find more sleep space for commuters. SGA has heard commuter concerns about wanting a quiet, private place to rest and are trying to find a way to make it happen.

  • SGA partnering with Offices of the Provost, President, Human Resources, and Business: APU’s School of Theology, School of Behavioral & Applied Sciences, and School of Business are looking for new deans and they want your help! These programs would love your feedback on potential interview questions that they can ask the applicants throughout the search process. Student opinion on this is incredibly important because it will help each program find a dean who best fits what the students in the program are looking for. Please be on the lookout for a Google Form where you will be able to submit these questions/suggestions. The Dean’s Search Advisory Committee, which is headed by Interim Provost, Dr. Stephen Johnson, consists of faculty, staff, and administrators, along with a student representative from SGA, that will oversee that application and interview process. This process began in October 2022 and will continue to March-April 2023. What do you want to see in your new deans? Let us know!
